Mobility scooters come in 3 or 4 wheel variants. The number of wheels might seem trivial at first, but there's an important distinction between the two.

The 4-wheel option provides more stability, having a whole extra wheel to disperse the weight. But this comes with the drawback of an increased turning radius. If you plan to mostly use the scooter in areas with plenty of space, the 4 wheel option is a great choice.
